Monday was fast and furious. I got stuck into the studio and admin. I actually can’t even remember what I did. I do remember seeing a lovely picture that Tyrone posted on Instagram of a beautiful work he owns of mine and displayed so perfectly in his Gallery, EYE ART, in Johannesburg.
Oh yes, I’ve also started to populate my YOU TUBE channel and spotted a cool pic Pete Rupert took of me way back in 2010.

Orange used to be my favorite colour. I even painted my house Orange. Now it’s White.
Richie also started the Turquoise Blue 3D print series. I’m only doing one of each girl and 10 key rings. I am going to paint over an existing painting of Tammy in the same colour and have a little exhibition called Turquoise Me. It is the new black.
Tuesday, I was at the shop and then off to install some Road Work art series with Madhis at Perperolis in Buitengraght Street. Her space is perfect for the Graffiti series of my art.
Tell me if you spot these in Cape Town
After a long day Joanne made me a home made Burger and I scoffed it with a glass of Champagne.
Showing Richie the colour scheme for the Candy 3D Prints coming soon
Wednesday was another Studio Day. I’m doing a big Sauvignon Blanc Tree at 2m x 2m for Klein Constantia Wine Farm. News to follow.
Thursday was a whirlwind day. I started at the shop and then had a 10am with a young artist called Mzukisi. Mzukisi. He is a very talented artist that was taught at the Imibala Trust in Somerset West. I’m going to be working with them and Mzukisi to further their art programme and show artists like Mzukisi the recipe to success.
I got back to the shop and Chad was busy graffiti-ing a crate that is going to Surrey in England.

We got an order in from Belgium for 1000 Magenta Ana Keyrings. So the 3D printer will be out of action for 3 months.

Brett popped in to see me. Out daughters dance together and he came to visit and pick my brain about art for his girlfriend.
Meet Brett
After picking up Joanne, we were invited to a lunch with Harold and Joanne. Harold took us to Osteria Tarantino in Green Point. Wow, it was great we all shared the Burrata Veg as a starter and Joanne and I shared the Viel and Spagetti. Joanne was so chuffed that you could order the pasta on the side.
After lunch we popped into Harolds flat. His Cape Town construction piece needs a touch up. I took the opportunity to take some pics of his Yellow Richard Scott Hot Tub.
Best view ever
Friday, I popped into the shop to do some packaging and then headed out to see Gerrie, my IP attorney and friend. I have a pressing issue that I needed advice on. Gerrie is a smart man and put me at ease and my mind at rest.
After Gerrie put my mind to rest I picked Joanne up and we picked up some Sushi and headed home for a nice long weekend as Tuesday is a public holiday and Monday is a SHUT-DOWN day. We watched tho movie “The Menu” and went to bed.
Saturday was an out and about day and running errands. So much for a chilled weekend. After going to storage to collect a few works, we popped into town for a light lunch and then headed to Chad to hang some art.
Saturday was the final live auction at Russel Kaplan. The lots did really well. It’s great to be in this space.
Sunday was family lunch. Everyone was here except Angelina who had planned with her best friend, Caris.
I made my famous Cape Malay Chicken Curries with Rooties and rice and it was all scoffed.
We played cards for a while and then I had to finish this Blog off.
